About
Deb Shaw is a photographer who spends her time between Manila, Philippines, and
Northern Michigan.
In 2002, she moved from her lifelong home of Michigan to work with the people of Manila. She and husband Bill founded The Jeepney Magazine, a street magazine for impoverished people in the Philippines.
Deb’s passion for visual arts goes beyond photography. She is an accomplished watercolor and acrylic artist, prior to coming to the Philippines her artwork was featured in shows and galleries in the Northern Michigan area. A longitme musician, Deb writes music, sings and plays the guitar, piano and hammer dulcimer.
